Emken clears major hurdle

February 25th

Team,

I wanted to give all of our supporters a quick update about the campaign.

Elizabeth cleared the first major hurdle to represent the district this past week when she filed the signatures to get her name on the ballot for the June 8th primary. This was thanks to the help of many friends and volunteers.

Now, the race is on. The Washington of Jerry McNerney and Speaker Pelosi, who he robotically follows is out of control. Elizabeth first went to Washington to fight for her own family, and particularly her developmentally disabled son Alex but after more than a decade fighting against the bureaucracy, she has learned how to make government smaller and more accountable. This education will be put to good use representing all the families of the 11th District.

Elizabeth has caught on and her fundraising momentum continues with coast to coast activities scheduled over the next few weeks including multiple in-district events. She continues to set the pace on the important Facebook new media frontier, as supporters recognize Elizabeth as the only candidate that genuinely represents fresh, new leadership and experience for CD 11.

Thanks for your support,

David Titus
